Since 1965, Merle Norman Cosmetics of Cookeville has catered to customers' needs in the Cookeville area and beyond.  Currently in our fourth location, for the last 12 years, the shop has grown from a cosmetic store to adding Magnolia James Bridal and offering prom, pageant gowns, and tuxedos and then evolving into a full-service bridal salon offering brides superior service, style, and selection.
 You can shop for all of your bridal needs at our one-stop shop.  We have highly specialized stylists in our store who can accommodate every customer on an individual basis.  Everyone works together to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience for your friends and family.
Area and traveling customers can hand-pick from our variety of bridal gowns, bridesmaids' dresses, mother gowns, and tuxedos and finish the look with a Merle Norman Makeover.

Cynthia Strong began her career at Merle Norman Cosmetics at 16.  She has owned the store since 2000.  Cynthia and her husband Gary started Magnolia James Bridal.  They have provided customers with the best service and selection in the area.  Cynthia's years of experience and expertise have assisted her success today.
Cynthia is passionate about creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience for each young man and lady, from their first Junior High dance to their happily ever after.  Gary and Cynthia have established a family-based salon that will continue to fulfill dreams for many years.
